Ideal for small families or groups of friends, Ecocoon Ceiba boasts 2 spacious bedrooms with AC and private bathrooms. The living area, nestled within the jungle, features a natural pool, kitchen, and a relaxing giant chilling net to unwind after adventurous days. This tree-villa accommodates up to 4 guests, with the option to add an extra bed in the upper bedroom for a 5th person.

Awaken in the midst of tranquility and marvel at the panoramic view from your secluded balcony, with a majestic ceiba tree at its center. This native Costa Rican tree can reach heights above 70 meters and live for over 500 years! Known for its nectar-filled flowers, it attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and howler monkeys. The ceiba holds cultural significance, revered as a sacred symbol connecting heaven, earth, and the underworld in Aztec and Maya lore.

Observe these lively creatures swinging from the canopy. Refresh yourself in the private natural pool or savor a homemade breakfast on Ecocoon Ceiba's suspended benches. Find serenity in the spacious net below, lulled by the melodies of the lodge's river and natural waterfalls. Enhance your well-being with invigorating yoga classes or soothing massages guided by Santa Teresa's finest instructors, either within your "ecocoon" or on the yoga deck.

GOOD TO KNOW:

First time in the jungle? We are immersed in nature.  Animals are friends, not enemies! Our cleaning standards are at the highest to keep the tree-villas perfect and insect-free, but that doesn’t stop occasional encounter to visit.

 

Internet / power-cuts: We have a reliable and fast internet with fiber optics, however power cuts can happen in Santa Teresa! We have put candles in your ecocoon to make some unexpected off-the-grid experience even more cozy!

 

Meals: We provide a delicious and home-made breakfast upon request for $20/person, and we can get lunch and dinner delivered to your ecocoon from the best restaurants in town, at the time of your convenience. We do not yet have restaurant seating, but you can enjoy the meals in the privacy of your ecocoon. We can also invite a Chef to cook for you in your ecocoon!

 

Location: we are secluded in the jungle by choice, away from the busyness and fussiness of town. You can easily walk to the beach and main shops, providing strong feet! We recommend to rent an ATV to visit the multiple waterfalls, jungle treks and beaches that Santa Teresa has to offer.

 

Stairs: Our resident monkeys have mastered the art of climbing, but for humans, we've installed a set of stairs to save you from embarrassing acrobatics :) Access to our stunning tree-villa is for the moment done via stairs (no zipline or elevator yet). Our dedicated team will do its best to help you carry your luggage.

Privacy: Your ecocoon is built in the jungle, where there are three more ecocoons and also a large deck, a tree-bar and SPA, where you can find us during the day. We do our best to provide you privacy during your stay. But since your tree-villa is standing next to a river stream, you might encounter now and then some animals, and some other guests enjoying the jungle as well!
